Marlins Prospect Victor Victor Mesa Went AWOL Out Of Nowhere Last Week And Now Is In The Bahamas Celebrating His Birthday
We've all had those urges to just up and leave work. Like "man, if I just got up and left that would be incredible". Well Marlins prospect Victor Victor Mesa actually did that and hasn't come back. He was a MASSIVE international signee back in 2018 with his brother....Victor Mesa. Victor Victor signed a fat $5.25 million deal and all he's done since then was become awful. Batted .233 in 290 minor league games. Guy is cooked and he knows it.
He turned 27 YESTERDAY and was still in AAA as of his last game on 6/16. He hadn't played since then and last week had some arguments with coaches and just left. Took his ball and went home. No one really knew where he was until took to twitter to show us how he was celebrating his birthday.
HE'S IN THE BAHAMAS! My dude left work, said "fuck you I'm going home" and went to the Bahamas to celebrate his 27th birthday. Just an hilarious turn of events. He should be trying to work his ass off to get onto a team that is trying to hunt a Wild Card spot and instead he packed his stuff and went home. A 27-year old throwing a fit and leaving a AAA team to go to an island and celebrate his birthday is just hilarious. My guess is we don't see him back in an organization. He got paid, was awful and said "peace". Y
ou have to applaud how he went out though. Again, we've all thought about it. What if I get in my car and just go. This guy got off the bus in Gwinnett, GA and never looked back. The balls on this kid man, hope he has a great birthday in the Bahamas.
